Job summary

Doodie Calls is seeking a Yard Technician to keep the storage yard running efficiently. You will check units in and out, perform cleaning and repairs, and move units with a forklift or telehandler. This is outdoor, hands-on work where daily results are visible to drivers and managers.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork, with opportunities to advance to Lead Yard Technician or driver roles. A valid license and physical stamina are required.

About Doodie Calls: We take care of the dirty work, so our customers don't have to. Since 2018 we've grown into a portable sanitation company working out of 4 states, serving construction sites, homes, special events and disaster relief. We're the official partner of the Miami Dolphins, Hard Rock Stadium and Florida State Athletics. The job: You'll keep our storage yard running. That means checking units in and out, cleaning and repairing them, and moving them with a forklift or telehandler so drivers can load out on time. It's hands-on, outdoor work, and you'll see the results every day.

What You’ll Do

• Check in returning units and stage units for the next day's deliveries
• Pressure wash and sanitize portable restrooms, trailers and vehicles
• Make general repairs to units and report anything that needs replacing
• Move units safely around the yard by forklift or telehandler
• Keep the yard clean and safe: trash pickup, mowing and weed-eating

What We’re Looking For

• Valid driver's license
• Forklift or telehandler experience preferred
• Willingness to handle deep-cleaning tasks using pressure washers, specialized chemicals, and vacuum hoses to pump out and sanitize units.
• Comfortable with basic hand and power tools
• A team player who communicates clearly and picks up new skills fast
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Load-Out Ready: Units are cleaned, restocked and staged before drivers arrive, so no truck waits on the yard.
• The "Like-New" Standard: Every unit you wash, and repair goes back out looking and working like new.
• Safe Equipment Operation: You run the forklift and telehandler without incidents, and you check your equipment every day.
• Repair and Report: You fix what you can on the spot and flag damaged units right away, so they don't reach a customer.
• A Yard That Runs Itself: Units are organized, walkways are clear and the grounds are kept up, so anyone can find what they need.

Physical requirements

On your feet most of the day. Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. Bending, kneeling and climbing. Working outdoors in heat, rain and cold. A pre-employment fitness-for-duty exam confirms you can safely do these tasks.
