Job summary

Herc Rentals is seeking a Yard Technician in the United States for our Beaumont, TX facilities. You will load/unload equipment, verify tickets, and keep the yard clean and organized while providing expert equipment advice to customers.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work indoors and outdoors as needed. Growth opportunities across the Herc network are available.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload internal truck drivers, outside haulers and customers.
• Verify delivery tickets and returns for accuracy.
• Clean, maintain, and organize heavy equipment and machinery.
• Review orders and stage equipment for drivers.
• Perform routine checks to ensure safety and good working order.
• Maintain a clean and organized yard and work area.
• Answer and resolve customer questions.
• Provide customers with expert advice on equipment selection, operation and maintenance.
• Support all team members.

What you will do

• Help to load and unload internal truck drivers, outside haulers and customers

• Review orders and stage equipment for drivers
• Perform routine checks on rental equipment to ensure it is safe and in good working order

• Provide customers with expert advice on the selection, operation and maintenance of all the various types of equipment
• Support all team members

Requirements

Pay Range: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
