Job summary

The Spotter is responsible for the movement of trailers to facilitate warehouse sorting and the processing of merchandise for shipment or storage. This position does require working in all weather conditions.Class C: $24.00 per hourClass A: $27.00 per hourPrimary Responsibilities:Operates a powered industrial truck to move loaded and empty trailers to and from dock and yard as designatedOperates sit-down forklift within warehouseAbility to follow safety rules of the yard including, dock locks, chocks, and speedPerform other duties as requested by supervisor.Able to operate safely in a heavy traffic areaPerform pre-trip report before operating vehicleUnload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.Ensure inbounds and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, put away, and load functions are required.Work Schedule- Monday- Friday 1:30 pm - 10:00pm & occasional Saturday’sPreferred knowledge and Skills:Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. Assist in physical inventories if necessary. Ensure proper stock rotation.Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
