Job summary

Breakthru Beverage Group is seeking candidates for a full-time Yard/Vehicle Operations role in Tampa, FL. You will move vehicles and equipment in the truck yard, ensure safe loading/unloading, and keep an orderly yard while following safety protocols.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, 1 year of related experience, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work in a team setting and support beverage operations with attention to detail and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in related area.
• Good communication with high levels of professionalism.
• Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines.
• Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Move vehicles around the yard, ensuring they are properly positioned for loading and unloading.
• Check vehicles and other equipment for safety and operational readiness.
• Safely and efficiently navigate vehicles and other equipment within the yard, avoiding congestion and maintaining an orderly environment.
• Provide clear directions to truck drivers and other team members and communicate any issues or changes in the plan.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols and report any unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Responsibly handle beverage alcohol product.
• Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently sit, stand, bend, squat, and reach.
• Frequently climb into and out of vehicle.
• Regularly lift 45-65 lbs.
• Must talk, hear, use hands and fingers to operate a vehicle and tech device.

Competencies:

• Accountable for meeting own targets, work is reviewed periodically.
• Problems encountered will be defined, repetitive, and routine with a solution readily available.
