Job summary

ISCO Industries in Kingman, AZ is seeking a Yard Forklift Operator to support our distribution network outdoors, handling 40-ft pipes and bundled products with 12,000-lb capacity.

You will load/unload trailers, verify items against packing lists, and maintain accurate inventory using Epicor Prelude and the Transportation Management System.

This role demands safety, teamwork, and reliable data entry, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating forklifts, including 12k+ lb capacity, or ability to be trained and certified.
• Prior experience in yard, warehouse, distribution, or shipping environments preferred.
• Basic data entry skills and Outlook proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate large forklifts (minimum 12,000‑lb capacity) in an outdoor environment.
• Load and unload flatbed trailers with 40‑ft HDPE pipe bundles and other long‑length materials.
• Load and unload large structures and fittings from flatbed trailers.
• Ensure load is secure with proper banding and dunnage on flatbed trailers.
• Handle, stage, and store 40‑ft material in an organized manner while ensuring proper weight distribution and stability.
• Bundle and secure 40‑ft HDPE pipe using approved tools and methods.
• Verify incoming products against packing lists and receipts.
• Maintain accurate inventory through Epicor Prelude (ERP) and conduct daily cycle counts.
• Use the Transportation Management System (TMS) to select shipping modes and carriers.
• Ensure accurate and efficient preparation of items for shipment.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices across the yard, ensuring clear aisles and safe working conditions.
• Follow all company safety procedures and report hazards immediately.
• Make recommendations for process improvements and workflow efficiency.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Summary

The Yard Forklift Operator plays an essential role in our distribution network. This role works primarily outdoors and requires operating large forklifts (minimum 12,000‑lb capacity) to safely handle materials—including 40‑ft pipe and bundled products.
