Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking a Yard Coordinator in Georgia to manage yard organization and movement, load/unload machines from trailers, and perform monthly inventory checks of attachments. The role requires mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills, and a clean driving record.

The candidate should be able to operate heavy equipment, multitask, and uphold safety standards while delivering reliable service to customers across branches.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills (email, internet, data entry) required.
• Knowledge of how to operate heavy equipment is essential.
• Ability to multitask and solve problems while maintaining safety.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload machines and attachments from lowboy trailers.
• Log all incoming and outgoing trucks on the yard.
• Log shipping/receiving of machines and attachments in tracking system.
• Check in heavy rents and customer machines; perform pre/post inspections.
• Maintain yard organization and equipment inventory.
• Conduct forklift inspections and monitor oil levels in tanks.
