Job summary

LB Foster in Hillsboro, TX is seeking a Yard Person I to move, load and unload products, ensuring accurate paperwork and safe operations. You will work closely with production to load shipments and maintain a clean, organized yard environment.

The role requires forklift and equipment familiarity, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team while following safety and quality policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a yard or warehouse environment preferred.
• Demonstrates verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, work efficiently and positively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily safe start meetings and follow all safety procedures.
• Load/unload products and ensure paperwork is complete and accurate.
• Demonstrate 5S and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Rigging and safe operation of forklifts, skid-steers, overhead cranes, and manlifts.
• Operate yard equipment safely and provide ground hand signals."
• Inspect received material for quality conformance and ship products per schedule.
• Perform pre-shift inspections of equipment.
