Job summary

Millstone Weber, LLC is seeking a hardworking Facilities and Yard Assistant to support the Facilities & Yard Manager. You will organize MO storage yards, assist with loading/unloading, and deliver small loads to projects using a pickup and trailer.

You will help maintain yards and assist with small tools procurement and safety initiatives. This role requires physical labor in all weather, ability to operate or learn forklift/telehandler/skid loader, and a strong work ethic aligned with MW safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• CDL preferred but not required; ability to obtain and maintain a CDL is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical labor in all seasons.
• Ability to operate or to be trained to operate a forklift, telehandler and skid loader in a safe manner.
• Ability to competently pull trailers with a pickup truck into and out of tight spaces.
• Ability to work independently and resolve practical problems, keeping all appropriate parties aware of issues or risks.
• Have a strong work ethic.
• Understand the requirements of MW Safety and People & Culture programs and enforce company’s policies.

Responsibilities

• Organize material in MO storage yards in a safe, orderly fashion.
• Assist drivers and field personnel with loading/unloading materials.
• Load and deliver smaller loads of material to projects using pickup truck and trailer.
• Take inventory of materials & hardware in yards.
• Assist with weed/pest control and snow removal at facilities & yards.
• Assist with facility maintenance needs.
• Attend Toolbox Talks and Safety Standdown meetings.
• Participate in bridge demolition discussions.
