Job summary

SiteOne Landscape Supply is seeking a Yard Associate to help manage store operations, organize product for deliveries, and maintain branch organization. You will unload incoming trucks and assist customers with product selection, contributing to a smooth customer experience.

Ideal candidates will lift up to 50 pounds, be safety-minded, and eager to learn new technologies. Prior green industry exposure or forklift experience is a plus; high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
• Must have a safety-minded work ethic.
• Must be customer-focused and a dependable team player.
• Ready and willing to learn and adopt new technologies.
• Green industry experience and familiarity with landscape, hardscape, nursery, forestry, or irrigation products is a plus.
• Experience operating equipment such as a forklift, skid steer, or front-end loader is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from incoming trucks.
• Load products into outbound vehicles, both customer and company.
• Replenish or move product at the branch as directed.
• Assist customers with product selection and provide additional support when needed.
• Partner with branch leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working to help positively impact business performance.
• Other duties as assigned.
