Job summary

Pioneer Builders Supply is seeking a Yard Lead to direct and coordinate loading/unloading of materials at our Sedro-Woolley yard. You will supervise yard workers, ensure safe operation of equipment, and maintain accurate paperwork for incoming and outgoing shipments.

Required 1–3 years in yard or DC work, plus 1 year of lead experience preferred; forklift experience is required. You will collaborate with customers and team members to keep shipments on time and in good condition.

Qualifications

• Requires 1 to 3 years related yard or distribution center experience plus 1 year of lead experience preferred.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Must be able to do heavy lifting.
• Forklift experience required.
• Must have basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to work as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates loading/unloading of materials.
