Job summary

Pioneer Builders Supply, a Division of Pacific Supply, is seeking a yard worker to direct loading and unloading of materials at our Sedro-Woolley yard. The role involves coordinating shipments, counting materials, and assisting customers on site.

You will need 1–3 years in yard or distribution center work with at least 1 year of lead experience preferred, plus forklift experience and the ability to lift heavy loads. A team-oriented, detail-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years related yard or distribution center experience plus 1 year of lead experience preferred.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Must be able to do heavy lifting.
• Forklift experience required.
• Must have basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to work as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Directs work in loading and unloading materials and in the use and care of machines and equipment.
• Completes all yard paperwork and documentation of incoming and outgoing material in a timely manner.
• Coordinates and inspects specified quantity and quality of shipments coming and going from the yard.
• Responsible for loading and unloading customer and company vehicles.
• Counts and reconciles incoming and outgoing materials.
• Assists all customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
