Job summary

Chick-fil-A Supply, based at the Hutchins Distribution Center in Hutchins, TX, seeks a Yard Coordinator to safely and efficiently move tractors, trailers, and trucks within the yard, following all company policies and DOT regulations.

Responsibilities include yard asset placement, audits, fueling and washing support, and compliance with hours-of-service rules and FSMA transport guidelines. Competitive pay starts at $30+ per hour with robust benefits and weekend/holiday rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• 1 year of yard coordination or related transportation experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Occasionally lift up to 55 pounds and move pallets up to 2,000 pounds with assistance
• Must have a valid CDL A and MVR meeting DOT requirements
• Willing to travel up to 5% for supplier visits or related movements

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently move tractors, trailers, and straight trucks on the yard
• Maintain proper placement of assets and perform yard audits
• Support asset fueling and washing as needed on-site
• Comply with DOT hours of service and safety policies
• Adhere to FSMA safe food transport policies
• Report incidents and defects and participate in safety trainings
