Job summary

Lautenbach Recycling is seeking a Yard Laborer to support daily operations at our Bakerview facility. This hands-on role focuses on sorting, material handling, and maintaining a clean, safe yard environment while learning the recycling process.

The position offers exposure to industrial operations, outdoor work, and opportunities to grow into equipment and operations roles over time as you gain experience and demonstrate reliability.

Qualifications

• Willingness to perform physical, hands-on work outdoors.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to follow instructions, safety rules and procedures.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial environment.
• Good awareness and attention to surroundings.

Responsibilities

• Perform general yard labor including sorting, cleanup, and material handling.
• Assist with moving, staging, and organizing recyclable materials.
• Support material flow throughout the yard and processing areas.
• Help stack and stage finished materials for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Work alongside team members to support daily production needs.
• Follow all safety procedures related to yard operations and equipment.
• Assist operators and learn various aspects of recycling and processing over time.
