Best Block, part of The QUIKRETE® Companies, LLC, has an immediate opening for a Yard Laborer at our Littleton, CO facility. The role includes forklift operation, use of hand tools, safety compliance, loading/unloading materials, and keeping work areas clean.

Ideal candidates may have experience in manufacturing and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a non-climate-controlled environment. Drug screening may be required as part of pre-employment testing.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Good understanding of safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and hand tools as required.
• Follow safety procedures and wear protective gear.
• Load and unload materials and supplies.
• Set up forms in the concrete production process.
• Maintain and clean equipment and work areas.
• Move production materials and assist in manufacturing tasks.
• Adhere to quality standards for concrete products.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

About The Role

• Forklift Operation
• Using Hand Tools
• Adhering to Safety Procedures.
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas.
• Loading and unloading materials and supplies.
• Sets up forms in the manufacturing production process of concrete products.
• Handling and moving production materials.
• Following safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear.
• Adhering to quality control standards to ensure the production of high-quality concrete products.
• Any other miscellaneous tasks assigned by management at any given time and in any given area

About You

• Experience working in a Manufacturing environment a plus
• Comfort with Lifting up to 50 Pounds
• The ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• A great understanding of Safety Compliance.
• Comfort working around Industrial Machinery.
