Join a team that values your well-being both in and out of the workplace. We are currently seeking a Yard Laborer (entry level position) to work out of our Heavy Equipment / Fleet division. This position is accountable for maintaining, organizing, and providing a safe yard environment for the company.**Yard Organization & Maintenance:*** Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard environment at all times.* Arrange and stage materials, tools, and equipment in designated areas for easy access and inventory control.* Support general housekeeping tasks in the yard and shop to ensure operational efficiency.**Loading & Unloading Operations:*** Load and unload freight, equipment, and materials using appropriate methods (manual or with equipment).* Verify material accuracy and condition during receiving and shipping activities.* Assist in moving large or heavy items within the shop area safely.**Vehicle Staging & Coordination:*** Organize and reposition company vehicles to prepare them for daily or scheduled use.* Ensure vehicles are parked in designated locations and ready for dispatch or service.* Monitor vehicle flow and communicate with shop staff to coordinate staging needs.**Support Functions:*** Assist with parts handling, including loading/unloading, delivery staging, and parts movement within the facility.* Provide backup support to parts runners, as needed, for delivery or pickup tasks.* Follow directions from supervisors and collaborate with coworkers to complete assigned shop duties.**General Labor & Flexibility:*** Perform general labor tasks as assigned by management to support yard or shop operations.* Safely use hand tools, material-handling equipment, and PPE as required for various job tasks.* Adapt to changing work priorities and job assignments throughout the shift.**Desired Qualifications:*** High school diploma or GED* Possess a valid driver’s license* Experience operating a forklift.**Yard Laborer Skills:*** Ability to operate a standard shift vehicle* Strong computer / PC skills* Dependable and self-motivated* Ability to navigate tight areas* Rapid emergency egress* Climb ladders* Sit for extended periods of time**Yard Laborer Working Conditions:*** May require moving and arranging of equipmentEOE/M/F/Disabled/Veteran/DFSP
