Central Supply Company, a CRH Company, is hiring a Yard Laborer to support daily yard and plant operations in a full-time role.

The position emphasizes safety, customer service, inventory handling, and operation of forklifts and loaders. You will load vehicles, stock inventory, and assist with unloading trucks while maintaining strong teamwork and adherence to OSHA/MSHA standards.

Yard Laborer

Job Summary

The Yard Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of tasks assigned by the supervisor to support daily yard and plant operations. This is a full-time, year-round position with overtime opportunities available.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Load customer vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Stock and organize inventory.
• Operate forklifts and loaders safely.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain regular attendance in accordance with company attendance policies.
• Transport materials while maintaining a strong focus on safety and accuracy.
• Assist with unloading trucks, including manual labor when required.
• Work cooperatively with coworkers, customers, and the public in a professional manner.
• Follow all OSHA/MSHA regulations and company safety standards.
• Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist with other duties and positions as needed to support operational requirements.
• Participate in cross-training opportunities and learn additional plant functions.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with team assistance or mechanical assistance.
• Ability to stand and work for the duration of an 8 to 12-hour shift.
• Ability to safely operate equipment and handle materials.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Ability to adapt to schedule, location, and shift changes with short notice.
