Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. in Winter Haven, FL is hiring a Yard Jockey / Shop Support to safely move trailers, back them into bays, and support daily shop tasks. CDL Class A experience or yard jockey background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Yard jockey, spotting, or CDL Class A experience preferred.
• Strong safety mindset and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Completion of required training: Yard Truck Certification (40 hours) and Forklift Certification.
• Basic computer skills for entering work orders and time logs.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Move semi-trailers around the yard using a yard truck.
• Back trailers into service bays and staging areas.
• Wash trailers inside and out to maintain cleanliness.
• Fuel and support fleet maintenance operations.
• Keep shop, wash bay, and fuel island clean and organized.
• Operate forklifts, company trucks, and yard equipment.
