Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. in Cocoa, FL is seeking a motivated Shop Helper to join our fleet service shop. If you have experience in truck driving or yard jockey/spotter roles and are looking to take the next step in your career, we want to hear from you!

You will wash trailers, back up semi-trailers with the yard truck, help with shop and wash bay upkeep, fuel equipment, and support daily operations while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must complete 40-hour Yard Truck driving course and forklift certification.
• Basic computer skills for work orders and time entry.
• Strong safety and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Wash trailers inside and out to maintain cleanliness.
• Safely operate yard truck to back up trailers and move them around the yard.
• Clean and maintain shop, wash bay, and fuel island.
• Fuel equipment and assist with fleet vehicle maintenance.
• Support daily operations and meet repair time standards.
• Operate company vehicles, yard truck, forklift, and shop trucks.
