Job summary

Altium Packaging in York, PA is seeking a reliable Yard Jockey to unload trucks, move raw materials, and load finished products. You will operate a forklift, transfer goods to the warehouse, and keep areas organized per safety standards.

The role requires basic math, computer skills, and prior yard jockey experience. A high school diploma is required, and overtime may be needed to meet business needs. This is an on-site position with full-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and store raw materials in designated areas.
• Drive forklift and load trucks with finished products in accordance with customer specifications.
• Transfer and store finished products to the warehouse.
• Repack damaged containers and keep storage area in proper order.
• Assist in inventory of raw material and finished goods.
• Keep material segregated by type and color.
• Fill customer requisitions and shipment orders.
• Assemble boxes and cartons and may hand-pack materials.
• May prepare materials for grinding process.
• May keep production lines supplied with raw materials.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Location Address: 15 Lightner Road, York, Pennsylvania 17404

• Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.
• Unload trucks and store raw materials in designated areas.
• Drive forklift and load trucks with finished products in accordance with customer specifications.
• Transfer and store finished products to the warehouse.
• Repack damaged containers and keep storage area in proper order.
• Assist in inventory of raw material and finished goods.
