Qualifications

Responsibilities

TCI Transportation is looking for a safe, dependable, and experienced Class A Driver/Hostler to join our Jacksonville team. If you’re looking for a steady local position, consistent work, and a home-daily schedule, this is a great opportunity to build a long-term career with TCI.
Position Highlights

• $21.00 per hour
• Full-Time Position
• Home Daily – Local Work
• Multiple shift options:
  • 5:00 AM – 1:15 PM
  • 1:00 PM – 9:15 PM
  • 9:00 PM – 5:15 AM
• Yard moves of 53′ and 57′ trailers
• Work with a high-volume account
• May occasionally operate a Class A tractor/trailer within a 300-mile radius of Jacksonville, FL

Job Responsibilities

• Safely move and position 53′ and 57′ trailers throughout the yard.
• Perform trailer spotting and yard moves for a high-volume operation.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient yard environment.

Driver Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience within the last 2 years.
• Valid Class A CDL with a satisfactory driving record.
• Satisfactory employment verifications for the past 3 years.
• Ability to meet TCI’s Safety and Insurance Criteria.
• Ability to safely operate tractor/trailer equipment both in the yard and on the road when required.
