Monoflo International, Inc. is seeking a Yard Jockey to safely move trailers and stage them for loading in a warehouse environment.

The role requires a CDL Class A license and involves operating yard trucks and forklifts, with attention to DOT/OSHA rules, accuracy in scanning, and daily equipment inspections. You will contribute to efficient material movement between production areas, support unloading, and maintain a clean yard and dock.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license is required.
• 3 years Class A equipment experience preferred.
• Must possess the ability to pass the OSHA forklift operator training and test.
• Exhibit strong work ethic with high initiative.
• Must have a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers safely and accurately, including wheel choking.
• Move trailers between Production, Reprocessing, and Material locations on/off site.
• Assist with unloading finished goods and accurate scanning of products and locations.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance inspections of equipment.
• Operate yard truck and forklift in DOT and OSHA guidelines.
• Notify Warehouse Manager of equipment maintenance issues.
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
• Assist with warehouse tasks and maintain cleanliness of yard and dock areas.
• Complete any additional duties as assigned.

Description

This position requires a CDL class A license. A Yard Jockey is responsible for safe and efficient operating of trucks or tractors equipped to move materials around the warehouse, yard, factory or similar location. The Yard Jockey will also be required to stage trailers daily for loading and maintain cleanliness of work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• The safe and accurate movement of trailers, which would also include the chocking of wheels
• Movement of trailers between Production, Reprocessing, and Material locations on/off site using the yard truck
• Assist with unloading finished goods, accurate scanning of product and locations as needed
• Perform daily safety and maintenance inspections of equipment prior to operating yard truck or forklift
• Operate equipment within DOT and OSHA guidelines
• Notify the Warehouse Manager immediately of maintenance issues concerning equipment
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
• Assist with warehouse functions such as decorating/labeling product for outbound shipment, picking/pulling items needed for production, and maintain cleanliness of warehouse yard and dock areas
• Complete any tasks or other duties as assigned.
