US Foods is hiring yard jockeys for a full-time role in Fairburn, GA. The position starts at $26.47 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 am until completion. DOT compliance and driving responsibilities are required. Candidates should be at least 21, hold a valid state driver’s license, and have six months of Non-CDL driving experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months Non-CDL commercial driving experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license issued by state of residence.
• Ability to pass DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Dispatcher/Router for truck/trailer and door assignments.
• Keep assigned equipment coupled.
• Load, unload or merge loads between environments.
• Stage shuttle trailers nightly for shuttle drivers.
• Place backhauls in correct door to be unloaded by warehouse.
• Make sure all equipment is paired and ready for next day's deliveries.
• Work with mechanics nightly.
• Attend required company meetings.
• All other duties as assigned.
