Job summary

Terzo Enterprises Incorporated is seeking a yard jockey to assist in moving and spotting equipment to support warehouse operations. Responsibilities include trailer sanitation, moving equipment, and daily inspections. The role is on-site at our Fairburn facility and CDL is not required.

Requirements include being 18+ and having a valid driver's license. Forklift experience and hostler truck operation are a plus. Terzo offers a comprehensive benefits plan and a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Shuttle loaded trailers to the facility and return with empty trailers to be reloaded.
• Move trailers of shells and return the empties to be loaded.
• Ensure empties are at the appropriate docks to be loaded.
• Make sure all trailers in the dock are properly locked.
• Keep the flow of loaded trailers moving out and empties in to not slow loading.
• Provide yard checks as needed for trailer inventory.
• Operate a forklift; role on-site driving a hostler truck.

What will you do?

We are looking for a yard jockey to assist in moving and spotting equipment required to facilitate the needs of warehouses in organizing and processing material for shipment or storage. The responsibilities of Yard Jockeys include trailer sanitation, moving equipment, and conducting daily inspections.
CDL not required

Duties Include:

• Shuttle loaded trailers to the facility and return with empty trailers to be reloaded.
• Move trailers of shells and return the empties to be loaded.
• Have empties in the appropriate docks to be loaded.
• Ensure all trailers that are put in the dock are properly locked.
• Keep the flow of loaded trailers removed from the dock and replaced by empties so as not to slow down the loading process.
• Provide yard checks as needed for trailer inventory.
• Operate a forklift as needed.
• This role will be on-site, driving a hostler truck
