Job summary

Moffitt Services is a Texas-based fuel and lubricants distributor serving customers in heavy equipment, generators, automotive, and truck fleets with a full line of fuels and lubricants. We are seeking a Yard Hand to support our yard, fuel island, and warehouse workflows.

The role runs on a 5/2 schedule with rotating weekends and holidays, typically 40 to 60 hours per week. The Yard Hand will assemble, load, inventory, and maintain equipment and materials, while helping with basic maintenance

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Willing to take direction and complete tasks as assigned.
• Able to work independently without constant supervision.
• Able to function well as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and timely attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble tanks/pumps etc. to fulfill customer request/order.
• Wash/clean and paint tanks, as needed.
• Support facilities maintenance and repair.
• Receive, inventory, consolidate, pack and load materials.
• Maintain a clean working environment on the Yard/Fuel Island/Warehouse.
• Other duties as assigned.

Moffitt Services is looking to expand our team. We are currently hiring a Yard Hand to meet our growing business and customer needs. This role is a 5/2 position, with a weekend and holiday rotation, and will work an estimated 40 to 60 hours per week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble tanks/pumps etc. to fulfill customer request/order.
• Wash/clean and paint tanks, as needed.
• Support facilities maintenance and repair.
• Receive, inventory, consolidate, pack and load materials.
• Maintain a clean working environment on the Yard/Fuel Island/Warehouse
• Other duties as assigned.

• Take instructions and complete tasks accordingly.

• Mechanical/Electrical aptitude.
