Job summary

Master Halco Fence & Deck Supply in Massachusetts is hiring a Yard Associate to join our branch team. The role involves loading and unloading trailers with a forklift, pulling orders, sorting and staging yard materials, and maintaining a clean yard.

We value safe forklift operation, reliability, and a willingness to contribute to customer service. This full-time position offers a weekday day shift, with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of warehouse/yard experience
• Able to lift/move heavy materials up to 60 lbs
• Forklift experience (sitdown) highly desired
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Experience with building materials is a plus

Responsibilities

• Review order documents to prepare for accurate product pulling for customers
• Drive forklift to load/unload trailers (70%), sort and stage material in the yard (30%)
• Safely operate a forklift
• Maintain yard stock in a clean and organized manner
• Pull and prepare orders for shipment
• Rotate yard stock and move materials safely with a forklift
