Job summary

Archer Western Construction is seeking a Yard Foreman for the West Bartow Reclamation Facility in Kingston, GA. The role includes supervising yard operations, coordinating daily tasks, and operating heavy equipment such as Front-End Loader, Dozer, and Excavator.

You will ensure safe, efficient yard activities and mentor crew members. Qualified candidates have 3–5 years of verifiable construction experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read work plans.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Foreman/leadership experience in construction preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication with crews and subcontractors.
• Ability to read and understand work plans and specs.
• Proven safety compliance and drug-free work ethic.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise yard operations and coordinate daily activities.
• Control inventory of yard tools and equipment.
• Maintain equipment and tool maintenance records.
• Record production and operational data on forms/reports.
• Inspect site, equipment, and safety compliance; enforce safety rules.
• Train and supervise workers on policies, safety practices, and procedures.
• Ensure timely yard deliveries and accurate log maintenance.
• Support workers with construction activities using appropriate tools.
