Job summary

Universal Waste Systems, Inc. is seeking a Yard Helper to support Operations by performing general maintenance duties in the yard and office. Responsibilities include cleaning debris, washing and detailing trucks, vehicles, bins and carts, and painting bins as needed.

The position requires adherence to federal, state and local health and safety rules. Certifications are a plus and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in resource recovery industry is a plus.
• Certifications a plus.
• Knowledge of custodial work and maintenance practices.
• Ability to follow safety rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the yard and office are clean of debris and hazards.
• Wash and detail trucks and vehicles.
• Wash and detail collection bins and carts.
• Wire brush and paint bins.
• Participate in department and company-wide trainings to increase skill sets and improve service.
