Job summary

EMR Group is seeking a dependable Yard Worker to join our team. You will maintain a clean and safe outdoor work area, assist with yard housekeeping, and help prepare work areas by clearing debris and hazards.

This role also involves equipment maintenance and cleaning barges and related gear. Ideal candidates are comfortable with basic tools, can lift up to 50 pounds, and are willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous forklift experience is a plus!
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable using basic hand tools, brooms, shovels, and other equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Assist with general yard housekeeping.
• Clean and prepare work areas by removing debris and hazards.
• Assist with equipment maintenance.
• Clean barges and equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
