Job summary

The Rock Pile in Avon, OH is seeking a full-time Yard worker with the opportunity to learn to operate a front end loader and drive a single axle dump truck for local deliveries. The role offers training and growth within a friendly, family-owned landscape supply business.

You will support yard staff, help customers with natural stone and bagged products, perform basic equipment maintenance, and load trucks as training progresses.

Qualifications

• Must be available for 35-40 hours per week with flexible start times.
• Willingness to learn and operate heavy equipment.
• Reliable transportation and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Help yard staff maintain inventory and outer area upkeep.
• Assist customers with natural stone and bagged products.
• Assist with loading trucks and customer vehicles as training progresses.
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Support growth into front end loader and dump truck duties.
