Job Description

As our Yard Equipment Operator, you will support our ability to serve customers efficiently by loading landscape materials into vehicles and trailers using equipment and manual labor, working closely with drivers and yard staff. Safety and customer interaction are key aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

• Operate wheel loader and skid steer for loading trucks and trailers
• Operate forklift for unloading deliveries
• Hand load landscape materials into customer vehicles
• Maintain yard cleanliness and organization
• Check in supplier deliveries of bulk materials
• Assist with moving or loading large store products
• Fill propane tanks for customers (if of lawful age)
• Assist with special requests from management

Required Qualifications

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with heavy equipment like wheel loaders

Physical Requirements

• Lift and handle up to 70 lbs.
