Alpha Building Center in Shipshewana, IN is seeking a hardworking Yard Employee. You will load and unload lumber and building materials, assist customers, and keep the yard organized for fast-paced projects.

This full-time, year-round position requires operating forklifts and other equipment safely, maintaining inventory, receiving shipments, and delivering excellent service to contractors and homeowners. Training is provided, and a strong work ethic and reliability are essential.

Competenze

• Ability to load/unload lumber and materials in varying weather conditions.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Team orientation with a proactive work ethic.
• Experience in building materials is a plus.

Mansioni

• Load and unload lumber, drywall, roofing, siding, and other building materials.
• Assist customers with selecting and loading products.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Keep the yard clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Pull and stage customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify materials against packing slips.
