Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring for a Non-DOT Yard Driver in Westlake, LA. The role runs on the 1st shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm, paying $22.85 per hour. Requires at least one year of verifiable driving experience and ability to operate yard trucks and forklifts.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Minimum of one year verifiable experience driving, switching or commercial tractor.
Experience operating yard trucks, forklift or similar equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

Move trailers and containers around the yard in a safe and efficient manner.
Operate yard trucks, forklift, or other equipment to facilitate movement of freight.
Perform routine inspections of trailers and equipment for safety and compliance.
Load and unload as needed and verify product counts.
Maintain clean and safe docking area and report maintenance or safety issues.
