Job summary

DSV is hiring a Yard Driver/Forklift Operator for a 2nd shift (3PM–11:30PM) in Braselton, GA. The role combines yard driving, forklift operation and warehouse duties to support efficient logistics workflows.

Responsibilities include receiving, put-away, order picking, inventory control, and adherence to safety policies. A valid forklift certification and basic math skills are required; prior tractor yard experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience in logistics/distribution.
• Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program.

Responsibilities

• Yard Driver duties: move and spot trailers, maintain neat storage lot, communicate with warehouse staff.
• Forklift Operator tasks: unload inbound shipments, input data into WMS, stack and store product.
• Order Picking: pull and prepare for shipment, ensure correct quantity and type.
• Quality: ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage; report variances.
• Delivery: move product to staging areas and ensure proper documentation accompanies freight.
• Inventory: maintain records and assist in physical inventories.
• Safety: maintain clean work area; follow SOPs and OSHA/MSDS standards.
• Equipment Operation: operate forklift and other equipment; perform basic maintenance.
