Job summary

Maersk is hiring a Class A Yard Driver in Massachusetts to move trailers and containers within a yard setting. This role focuses on door-to-door moves in a controlled yard environment, not over-the-road driving.

You will work with a team to ensure safe, efficient operations and daily movements using company software, with an emphasis on accuracy and safety. The starting pay is $28.00 per hour, with a standard schedule and room for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of verifiable TT within the last 5 years.
• Valid Class A driver’s license.
• DOT MEDICAL.
• Required Clean driving record.
• No DUI or criminal history.
• Must complete full application process.
• Must pass Yard test.

Responsibilities

• Drive a gas- or diesel-powered tractor trailer combination to move trailers and containers from door to door.
• Move trailers from door to door by using a company software program.
• Drives trailers and containers from door to door in a yard setting, not over the road driving.
• Opening and closing trailer doors when making moves.
• Updating moves made throughout the shift by using a company software program.
• Work with other drivers to complete moves in the most efficient manner possible.
• Conducts daily inspections to ensure trucks safety.

Class A yard Driver:

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Class A Yard Driver to join our team in Massachusetts. Candidates MUST HAVE AT Least 1 year of verifiable experience in the last 5 years. 0% TOUCH FREIGH Pay : $28.00 per hour *The above stated pay is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws. Schedule: WED - SAT- 5am-3:30pm
