Job summary

Performance Team is seeking a Yard Associate to organize and update the yard daily. Ensure materials arrive as ordered and track yard inventory. You will gate trailers and containers, inspect and move items, and support routing, shipping, and dispatch activities to keep operations running efficiently.

Role requires attention to detail, ability to multitask, and familiarity with Microsoft applications. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with knowledge of DOT rules desirable.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gate trailers and containers in and out of the yard using the company software system.
• Walk the yard twice daily to ensure accuracy.
• Assist warehouse team in routing and shipping of materials with outbound equipment.
• Coordinate with dispatch to ensure trailer transfers between buildings occur smoothly.
• Maintain equipment inventory and verification.

Summary

Organize and update the yard on a daily basis. Ensures that all materials needed for the yard and facility come in as ordered and expected.

Responsibilities

• Gate trailers and containers in and out of the yard by using the company software system.
• Walk the yard twice daily to ensure its accuracy.
• Assist warehouse team in routing and shipping of materials with outbound equipment.
• Work with the dispatch team to ensure that trailer transfers from building to building occur without fail.
• Equipment inventory and verification.
• Container and chassis inspections and cleaning Verify container pool.
• Assist with maintenance and repair of equipment (trailers, containers)
• Ensuring yard layout is maintained per company expectations.

Qualifications

• Must be knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft applications.

Pay Range

$23.00 hourly-$25.00 hourly *The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws. #Indeed
