Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Yard Coordinator to support daily trailer yard operations at a fast-paced retail distribution facility. This role serves as the key communication link between transportation teams, and onsite leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate yard execution.

The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, can prioritize multiple competing tasks, analyzes operational data to drive performance, and delivers exceptional customer service while maintaining a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

KPI & Data Analysis

• Track and analyze key yard performance metrics, including:
• Average Service Time (AST)
• Move completion rates
• Trailer dwell time
• Yard utilization
• Location accuracy
• Safety performance metrics

Identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for operational improvement.

Develop and distribute performance reports and operational summaries.

Support leadership with data-driven recommendations to improve efficiency and service levels.

Prioritization & Problem Solving

Effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Make real-time decisions based on operational needs and customer requirements.

Balance urgent requests while maintaining overall yard flow and productivity.

Coordinate resources to minimize delays and ensure business continuity.

Safety & Compliance

Conduct routine yard inspections and audits.

Identify potential safety concerns and collaborate on corrective actions.

Promote a culture of safety and operational excellence.

Ensure Compliance With Company Policies, Procedures, And Regulatory Requirements.

Pay Range

$23.00 hourly-$25.00 hourly

The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
