Sunbelt Rentals is hiring a Porter/Yard Worker to join our team. You will station and retrieve equipment across the property, maintain maintenance records, and inspect gear before and after rentals.

The role supports a safety-focused culture and offers growth into mechanics, driving, or customer service positions. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, experience with common tools, and a willingness to learn about equipment repair.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers (written and oral).
• Ability to perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc).
• General mechanical aptitude.
• Safety-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• The Yard Associate coordinates the stationing and retrieval of equipment on the location’s property.
• Maintains a written maintenance schedule and may service equipment to meet specifications.
• Inspects equipment prior to and after rental to document damage or loss.
