Job summary

SiteOne Landscape Supply in Prosper, TX is seeking a Bilingual Yard Associate to help achieve strong store performance and support the branch strategy. You will organize inventory for deliveries and maintain the yard's overall order.

Your daily duties include unloading products from incoming trucks, loading outbound vehicles, replenishing stock, assisting customers, and collaborating with leadership to adopt new technologies and processes. We value safety, teamwork and dependable service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency preferred.
• Safety-minded work ethic.
• Customer-focused and dependable team player.
• Willing to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working.
• Green industry experience with landscape/hardscape products is a plus.
• Experience operating equipment such as forklift or skid steer is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Position Overview

Our Bilingual Yard Associates help achieve world-class store performance while contributing to and supporting the overall branch strategy, performance, and growth. Yard Associates organize product for deliveries to job sites and help maintain the overall organization of the branch.

• Unload product from incoming trucks.
• Load products into outbound vehicles, both customer and company.
• Replenish or move product at the branch as directed.
• Assist customers with product selection and provide additional support when needed.
• Partner with branch leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working to help positively impact business performance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills We Are Seeking

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis
• Bilingual Proficiency - candidates who are conversational in English/Spanish are preferred.
• Must have a safety-minded work ethic
• Must be customer-focused and an enthusiastic, dependable team player
• Ready and willing to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working
• Green industry experience and familiarity with landscape, hardscape, nursery, forestry, or irrigation products is a plus
• Experience operating equipment such as a forklift, skid steer, or front-end loader also a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
