Job summary

Coastal Farm in The Dalles, Oregon seeks an enthusiastic associate to greet customers, answer questions, and assist with product location. You will handle phone inquiries and stay in constant radio contact with team members, while maintaining product knowledge and promoting promotions.

You will also support floor moves, displays, housekeeping, and occasionally assist in other departments. Strong communication and adaptability are essential for success in a fast-paced retail environment.

Description

Primary Purpose

To be responsible for maintaining customer service as per company standards, generating sales, housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, point of sale operations, processing freight, and loss prevention in adherence to all company policies and store standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer, answer customer questions, and help customers find the location of products.
• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Constant radio communication with all associates.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the products Coastal Farm sells.
• Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge information and merchandise promotions.
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and store housekeeping.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• Help in other departments when needed.
• Perform daily cleaning – such, but not limited to, vacuuming, replacing full trashes with new trash bags, and sweeping the department floor.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
