Job summary

Power Trip Rentals is seeking a Yard Associate to stock, stage, and retrieve equipment in our outdoor yard in Sun Valley, CA. You will operate a forklift, prep gear for rental, and keep the yard organized while adhering to safety procedures.

This full-time role offers morning, swing, and evening shifts, a safety-focused team, and opportunities to advance into mechanic, driver, or customer service roles. Benefits are provided for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in yard/warehouse/construction or equipment rental is a plus.
• Forklift experience or willingness to learn and get certified.
• General mechanical aptitude.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Station and retrieve equipment throughout the outdoor yard.
• Operate a forklift to load and unload rental equipment.
• Stage equipment and prep it to be rent-ready.
• Inspect equipment before and after rental, documenting any loss or damage.
• Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of tools and machinery.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Position: Yard Associate

Work Environment: This is an outdoor position, working in our rental yard in all weather conditions.

The Yard Associate is responsible for stationing and retrieving equipment across our outdoor yard, staging equipment for rental, and keeping the yard organized and running efficiently. This role also inspects equipment before and after rental to document any lost or damaged items, and performs minor maintenance and cleaning of tools and machinery as needed.
