Job summary

Norton Yacht Sales Inc is seeking a Yamaha Marine Technician responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Yamaha outboard engines. Tasks include routine services, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and installing new Yamaha outboards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Yamaha outboard service experience (or equivalent).
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical/electrical issues using Yamaha OEM methods.
• Conduct compression and leak-down testing.
• Sea-trial boats and verify performance.

Skills

Mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills

Familiarity with Yamaha service bulletins and OEM processes

Ability to use YDS/YDIS diagnostics

Rigging experience

NMEA 2000 knowledge
