Job summary

UPMC Touchstone Medical Imaging in York, PA is hiring a full-time X-Ray Technologist for daytime hours Monday through Friday. This role supports outpatient imaging services at our York location and offers a stable schedule with no on-call or holiday work.

Qualified candidates will hold ARRT certification, PA license, and complete an approved Radiologic Technology program; proficiency with RIS/PACS; and strong communication and patient care skills.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in radiology is required.
• PA license must be current.
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Proficiency with computer monitors and RIS/PACS systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lifts, moves, positions and assists patients on/off examination table.
• Stand/walk approx 75% of shift; rest seated.
• Ensure patient safety and image quality during exams.

UPMC Touchstone Medical Imaging is coming soon to the suburbs of Pittsburgh in York, Pennsylvania! Our business provides cost-effective, convenient outpatient diagnostic imaging services. A joint venture partnership between UPMC and Touchstone Medical Imaging, the nationwide leader in outpatient imaging, offers comprehensive medical imaging in one location.

We're seeking full-time XRay Technologist for our York, PA location

Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime hours. No on-call or holidays

Qualifications:

• Current, valid ARRT certification in your modality
• Pennsylvania license is required
• Graduate of approved program for Radiological Technology
• Basic proficiency with computer monitors, keyboard and mouse for scanning, RIS and PACS use
• Organized, detail oriented, observant
• Calm and effective communicator
• Helpful, patient and sympathetic

• Lifting, moving, positioning and assisting patients on/off examination table
• Walking 25% of shift, standing 50% of shift, sitting 25% of shift
