Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Georgia. You will move, position, and operate radiographic equipment to complete procedures safely while providing direct patient care. You will monitor patient condition, transport patients, and follow infection control protocols.

Ensure rooms are clean, stocked, and ready, and that equipment undergoes routine safety checks. Preferred candidates have ARRT registration, CPR/BLS certification, and at least 1 year of radiology

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in Diagnostic Imaging including Surgery and Trauma.
• Experience as Radiologic Technologist preferred.
• One year post certification experience to evaluate or instruct student radiographers.
• Ability to analyze data, techniques, and equipment operations for accurate results.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, providers, team members, and others of diverse backgrounds. Moves, positions, and manipulates radiographic equipment to complete requested procedures safely. Performs direct patient care duties within the technologist’s scope of practice, including monitoring patient condition, transporting patient, and using proper infection control techniques. Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks. Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledgeable in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging to include Surgery and Trauma
• Previous Radiologic Technologist Experience [Preferred]
• One year post certification experience required to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers
• Ability to analyze and assess data, techniques, methodology, equipment operation, and quality control to ensure that information is obtained and presented accurately
• Up-to-date knowledge of patient positioning and equipment operations, including x-ray producing equipment, if applicable per facility.
