Envision Radiology, LLC in Tulsa, OK seeks a Full-Time X-ray technologist to join our team as an MRI imaging assistant. This is an outpatient clinical role focusing on quality imaging and patient care.

You will perform diagnostic X-Ray procedures, adjust equipment, position patients, and support radiologists with contrast media and imaging protocols. Qualified candidates hold ARRT certification, radiography registry, CPR, and state licensure where applicable; strong communication and teamwork in

• Two plus years’ experience in X-Ray preferred
• Current ARRT certification and radiography registry required
• CPR certification and state license (if applicable)
• Ability to educate patients on procedures and procedures explained clearly
• Detail oriented, team player in a fast-paced outpatient environment

Envision Imaging seeks a Full-Time X-ray technologist to join the team!
This role will serve as an MRI imaging assistant

Summary/Objective:

Performs various types of diagnostic X-Ray procedures, adjusts X-Ray equipment settings, determines proper voltage and exposure and positions patient. Performs specific procedures utilizing ionizing radiation. Assists physicians in assigned examination utilizing contrast media and/or specific tomographic examinations.

Essential Functions

• Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions and explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image.
• Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent. Screens patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc.
• Obtains prior films/exams as needed and performs high quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for interpretation.
• Performs exams while attending to patient’s care before, during and following exam and notifies the appropriate party if patient’s condition changes at any time.
• Transfers images to other locations as needed.
• Coordinates scan protocols with Radiologist.
• Maintains and regularly inspects equipment and immediately reports any quality concerns as well as equipment failures or deficiencies.
• Interfaces with Lead Technologist & Center/Area Manager regarding any and all departmental concerns.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervision responsibilities.

This job operates in an environmentally controlled outpatient clinical environment. Potential exposure to radiation, which is minimized by the use of Personal Protective Equipment. Possible exposure to bodily fluids, communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation and other conditions common to a medical office environment. Often requires work in cool, dimly lighted rooms.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may exert up to 50 pounds of forceoccasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of forceconstantly to move objects.

The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects,tools or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk andhear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjustfocus.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

• Two plus years’ experience in X-Ray- preferred
• Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player
• Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment
• Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation

Education/Certifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• Registry in Radiography (R)
• Current license from state medical board (if applicable)
• Current CPR certification
