Cornerstone Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic X-rays in a high-volume orthopedic outpatient setting in San Francisco.

You will explain procedures, position patients, and ensure high-quality images while maintaining safety and patient comfort. The role requires ARRT certification, a radiologic technology degree, and California licensure, with added coverage at the San Rafael clinic as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic technology or a related field.
• ARRT certification and California licensure required.
• Experience with Epic and orthopedic PACS platforms preferred.
• Strong positioning, organization, and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume environment.
• Willingness to travel to San Rafael when coverage is required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-rays in a busy outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Explain imaging procedures and help patients feel comfortable.
• Position patients and equipment to obtain high-quality images.
• Adjust exposure factors while following radiation-safety standards.
• Confirm imaging orders and document completed studies accurately.
• Process and manage images using the designated PACS.
• Maintain imaging equipment, rooms, and clinical supplies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and clinical staff.
• Follow all HIPAA, safety, regulatory, and quality requirements.
• Provide occasional coverage at the San Rafael clinic as needed.

This opportunity is ideal for an organized imaging professional who can work independently while delivering accurate results and a reassuring patient experience.
