Job summary

Synovation Medical Group in San Diego is seeking a skilled X-Ray Technician to support our outpatient surgery center. The role involves performing diagnostic X-rays and assisting with fluoroscopic guidance during interventional pain procedures.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced setting. You will prepare and position patients, operate radiologic equipment, and ensure radiation safety compliance.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited X-ray technician program.
  • Current fluoroscopy license in the state of California.
  • Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Knowledge of radiology equipment, including quality control and testing.
  • Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology to accurately identify imaging areas.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging as ordered by providers.
  • Assist physicians during fluoroscopy-guided pain procedures (e.g., injections, nerve blocks).
  • Operate and maintain radiologic and fluoroscopy equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients accurately for imaging and procedures.
  • Maintain sterile field and assist with procedure room setup as needed.
  • Conduct routine equipment quality control and testing.
  • Accurately document imaging and patient information.
  • Provide excellent patient care and clear communication throughout visits.

Key Responsibilities
