Job summary

Comcast is seeking a results-driven residential sales representative to promote and sell XFINITY products to customers in assigned territories. You will engage customers door-to-door, explain product features, pricing and promotions, and build relationships to meet sales targets.

The role requires active customer engagement, the ability to travel within the area, and flexibility to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of relevant sales experience preferred.
• Must be willing to walk door-to-door and travel within assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Showcase Comcast product expertise and promoting/selling to customers by door-to-door canvassing in assigned area.
• Demonstrate current knowledge of XFINITY Residential products including features, benefits, pricing, and campaigns.
• Communicate and develop rapport with customers and evaluate their needs to make recommendations.
• Increase customer understanding of Comcast products and pricing models and advantages over competitors.
• Evaluate offers from other companies and articulate Comcast advantages.
• Meet physical requirements for walking and door-to-door travel in all weather conditions.
• Obtain and maintain credentials/licenses to sell/design alarm systems as required by law where applicable.
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Attend work consistently; be available nights and weekends with variable schedules and overtime as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

This job is responsible for the promotion and selling of XFINITY Residential products and services within an assigned turf. This role focuses on individual direct sales and/or multiple dwelling units to establish relationships to meet sales targets. To maximize sales and/or winbacks, this role utilizes their extensive product knowledge and sales experience.

Core Responsibilities

• Showcasing Comcast product expertise and promoting/selling to customers by door-to-door canvassing in assigned area
• Demonstrating current knowledge of XFINITY Residential products including their features, benefits, pricing, and campaigns
• Communicating and developing rapport with customers effectively. Evaluating individual customers’ existing and potential product needs and making recommendations
• Increasing customer understanding of Comcast products and pricing models as well as unique benefits over other service providers
• Evaluating offers from other companies and framing a response to showcase the advantages of Comcast
• Must meet the physical requirements of the job including, but not limited to, the ability to walk and/or travel door-to-door for considerable distances in all types of weather conditions
• Where applicable, obtain and maintain any credentials and/or licenses necessary to sell and/or design alarm systems as required by law
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Compensation

Base Pay: $41,488.00

Total Target Compensation (Base Pay plus Targeted Commission): $75,488.00
