Job summary

Comcast Corp. in Pennsylvania is seeking a direct sales representative to promote and sell XFINITY Residential products door-to-door in an assigned area.

You will leverage product knowledge and sales experience to meet targets, demonstrate pricing and campaigns, build rapport, and navigate weather and licensing requirements, with flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years of relevant sales experience.

• Explain pricing models and unique benefits over competitors.
• Evaluate offers from other companies and highlight Comcast advantages.
• Meet the physical requirements of door-to-door travel in all weather conditions.
• Obtain and maintain licenses/credentials necessary to sell or design alarm systems where required by law.
• Exercise independent judgment in matters of significance.
• Maintain regular, punctual attendance; be able to work nights, weekends, and overtime as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

This job is responsible for the promotion and selling of XFINITY Residential products and services within an assigned turf. This role focuses on individual direct sales and/or multiple dwelling units to establish relationships to meet sales targets. To maximize sales and/or winbacks, this role utilizes their extensive product knowledge and sales experience.

Job Description

Salary + Commission: $44,742 + $34,000

Core Responsibilities

• Showcasing Comcast product expertise and promoting/selling to customers by door-to-door canvassing in assigned area
• Demonstrating current knowledge of XFINITY Residential products including their features, benefits, pricing, and campaigns
• Communicating and developing rapport with customers effectively.
• Evaluating individual customers' existing and potential product needs and making recommendations
• Increasing customer understanding of Comcast products and pricing models as well as unique benefits over other service providers
• Evaluating offers from other companies and framing a response to showcase the advantages of Comcast
• Must meet the physical requirements of the job including, but not limited to, the ability to walk and/or travel door-to-door for considerable distances in all types of weather conditions
• Where applicable, obtain and maintain any credentials and/or licenses necessary to sell and/or design alarm systems as required by law
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance
• Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Total Target Compensation (Base Pay plus Targeted Commission)
