Capital Group is seeking a Wealth Management Consultant to lead sales initiatives in the Cross Channel segment and manage relationships with key firms in Louisiana. You will present compelling analyses, coordinate with internal wholesalers, and drive investor outcomes through strategic execution.

You will leverage Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau to create tailored analyses and maintain strong collaborations across teams to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in third-party distribution and long-term relationships.
• Ability to lead a territory team of Internal, Divisional and Regional Wholesalers.
• Strong partnership with Retirement Plan Wholesaler and specialists to drive results.
• Deep technical knowledge of portfolio construction.
• Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau for custom analysis.

As one of our Wealth Management Consultants, you will be a key member of our wholesaling team leading sales initiatives in the Cross Channel segment, identifying firm and firm representatives' needs and coordinate efforts to serve those needs. You'll manage American Funds Distributions presence, relationships and business results with key firms. You excel at delivering motivational and informative presentations. You're motivated by setting goals and measuring your performance against them. You are a well-rounded collaborator and work skillfully with other Senior Sales Force members to identify opportunity for better investor outcomes.

• You have a proven track record in third-party distribution, a broad knowledge of the ETF, Mutual Fund, SMA and CIT business and sales cultures, and the demonstrated ability to build long-term relationships.
• You can effectively lead and motivate a territory team consisting of an Internal Wholesaler, Divisional Wholesaler and Regional Wholesaler
• You are a strong partner with your Retirement Plan Wholesaler, asset class, vehicle and practice management specialists to drive results
• You have a proven track record and a deep technical knowledge of portfolio construction.
• You know how to leverage technologies to create custom analysis (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, etc.).
• You're well-versed in synthesizing information and presenting it in a distilled manner.
• You have one or more of the following designations: Series 7, AIF, AIFA, PPC, CIMA, and CFA

Capital Group is required by state specific laws to include the salary for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The base salary for this role is $75,000/100,000+ applicable sales commissions and bonuses. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
