Responsibilities

1. Performs all diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures within assigned areas.
2. Reviews all necessary documentation to perform diagnostic procedures.
3. Performs preventative visual and manual inspections for each radiographic room/equipment assigned, ensuring appropriate maintenance and cleanliness.
4. Participates in the training and development of staff and radiology students.
5. Demonstrates basic leadership skills and professional growth.
6. Accurately enters all applicable information into the computer system and charges for procedures.
7. Plans and/or implements care for assigned patients.
8. Contributes to an effective quality management and quality control program for the assigned area.
9. Ensures patient satisfaction and contributes to metrics like ED & inpatient scores, wait times, and courtesy.
10. Chaperones patients when necessary.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Not specified.

Licensure: State of CT Licensure. ARRT (R).

Physical Demands

Requires standing, walking, manual dexterity, talking, hearing, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
